Privacy Policy

WishKo ("Wish Upon a Star") is an interactive sky map where you can explore real star positions, make wishes on stars, and help manifest others' wishes. The app is built around anonymity and emotional sincerity.

Anonymous by default. When you first use WishKo, we create an anonymous account. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personally identifiable information unless you choose to sign in with Google for cross-device sync.

What we store:

• Your wishes (the text you type when making a wish)
• Which wishes you've manifested (sent light to)
• Star dedications you've created or received
• Your birthday (month and day only, if you provide it — used for zodiac-based readings)

What we do NOT collect:

• Your real name or identity
• Your location (unless you explicitly use the "Find Your Star" feature)
• Contacts, photos, or files
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Advertising identifiers

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your email address solely to link your account for cross-device sync. Your email is never displayed to other users. You remain completely anonymous to everyone else on WishKo.

WishKo uses the Google Gemini API to generate personalized cosmic readings. Your wishes and birthday are sent to this service to create readings. This data is not stored by the AI service beyond the request.

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS in Singapore). All connections use HTTPS encryption. Row-level security ensures users can only access their own data.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties. Your wishes are visible to other users, but they are completely anonymous — no username, avatar, or identity is ever attached.

Wishes are public and anonymous. To keep WishKo safe and welcoming, we do not tolerate abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, illegal, or spam content.

Reporting: if you see a wish that violates these rules, email us at sasingrastaman@gmail.com with a short description. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content that violates these rules.

Blocking: you can hide wishes from specific anonymous authors by reporting them — once reported, their content is removed from your feed immediately.

We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these rules, without prior notice.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Upon deletion, all your wishes, dedications, and account data will be permanently removed.

WishKo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
